The General Road Test Royale - Lobby/Building Concept

In 2024 I had the opportunity to work on The General: Road Test Royale, a Fortnite experience created as a partnership between Look North World and The General Insurance, through MNSTR Studio!
The thumbnails in the first images would represent the lobby area of the game; on these, I worked on a few options in a more traditional workflow, using drawing, perspective, painting, color and a bit of photobashing skills. The idea was to deliver a few options of an area that would serve as a workshop, or as a car dealer environment, having US city landmarks on the horizon to represent the different tracks in the game. After that, I worked on a specific building asset that would be the main building at the center of the lobby, one that would look like a workshop. I used Blender to make the blockout and base render, then added more details through painting and drawing over the model, as well as add a car to show scale and, of course add some branding. Awesome challenge to work on!
